Hey, I’m Arsema 👋🏾

Let me tell you a bit about me:

• I am an experienced Tech Recruiter with 5+ years of recruiting experience
• Gained my Certificate in Recruitment Practises (CertRP) Qualification
• During university (2018 graduate), I got nicknamed the “placement lady” 🙋🏾‍♀️ as I was constantly on the job boards finding & sharing opportunities, helping my friends format & rewrite their CVs, and even holding mock interviews in our halls. You could say that this is where I found my passion for recruitment
• Once I finished university, I decided to leave my Chemical Engineering degree behind and embark on a career in recruitment
• Having started in agency recruitment, I then went on to launch my independent agency supporting start-ups, scaleups, and SMEs in building their engineering teams and have worked with businesses of all team sizes, from <5 to >500.
• Alongside my agency, feeling a sense of disconnect from the wider industry and looking to champion diversity & inclusion in this field, I co-founded and lead a global recruitment community of black professionals within recruitment & talent acquisition
